POGO

    Pogo(Nick Berdke) is an electronic music artist from Perth in Australia. He is known for his work recording small sounds from a film or a specific scene, and sequencing the sounds together to form a new piece of music. This method of sampling was first done by Todd Edwards in 1990. Pogo doesn't work with big producers or labels but just relies on his fans to supply funds to keep his career running. He is currently creating a song called 'Remixing the World'. He plans to travel around the world and record sounds from places such as the Amazon to create this song. Here is a song that he created called 'Toyz Noize'

2 Wild Pandas.

                     Two Giant Pandas have been agreed to be sent to the UK from China. They are going to be kept in Edinburgh Zoo, this will be the first time in 17 years that a panda will set foot in the UK. Tian Tian and Yangguang, a breeding pair born in 2003, will be under the custodianship of the zoo society.
                    The ambassador of China, Mr Liu Xiaoming, said "Pandas are a national treasure in China" and that "This historical agreement is a gift to the people of the UK from China." These quotes convey how huge this agreement is not only for the zoo but for the relationship between China and the UK.
